The Comfort Suites Maingate East, located at 2775 Florida Plaza Boulevard, has been named Inn of the Year by Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE:CHH) franchisor of the Comfort Suites hotel brand.
Choice Hotels annually presents the Inn of the Year Award to hotels that demonstrate lodging excellence. The best of each brand is selected by a committee of peer hoteliers who evaluate the hotel on a variety of factors including guest service, hotel cleanliness and hotel décor during several unannounced inspections.
The Comfort Suites Maingate East was selected as Inn of the Year from among 345 open Comfort Suites hotels throughout the United States.
The Inn of the Year Award was presented to Charles and Cindy Brooks, the hotel's owners and Clayne Dice, the hotel's general manager, at Choice's 49 th annual convention, this month, at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando.
